Energy Invest Mittelhessen Fund secures first renewable energy project in Germany

Repowering onshore wind project with a total capacity of ~12,6 MW secured in Saxony-Anhalt.
After completion, more than 10,000 households can be supplied with green electricity, saving approximately 13,000 tons of CO2 per year.
Transaction marks the beginning for further planned investments for the fund with a target volume of up to 150 million euros.
The Energy Invest Mittelhessen Fund („Fund“) has successfully secured a majority stake of a ~12,6 MW repowering onshore wind project in Saxony-Anhalt. The project includes in total three wind turbines of the type Enercon E-138 and will be able to supply over 10,000 households with green electricity after its completion. This will save approximately 13,000 tons of CO2 per year.

Union Investment, Volksbank Mittelhessen eG and Pacifico Energy Partners GmbH have jointly committed to making sustainable and appealing investments in renewable energy projects with a geographic focus on Germany.
